I'm part of a small team developing a web application called Billster http://billster.net - Billster is a totally free online application developed to organise personal and shared expenses. At the moment we're a small organisation and would like to increase awareness of what we can offer. We intend to do this by promoting ourselves to Universities and Students Unions as a way for students who live in shared accommodation to get a grip on the household's shared finances, as we all know how hard it can be to track who owes what and who.

We're not looking to invest or get return on this money, we just need some short term capital to fund a leaflet and poster campaign, which can be hard to raise in one lump sum. Being a small organisation it doesn't make much sense for us to go down the route of small business loans, and we feel that Zopa listings would give someone a unique opportunity to see where their money is going, and hopefully see that it's made a difference to us.

All the Billster team have gainful full-time employment in various IT Sector roles. One day we'd all like to make a living from Billster, and this loan will go some way towards helping with that.
