A few weeks ago we sent surveys to almost every one of our members to pick your brains. Thanks to all of you who gave us your thoughts! Amongst other things, we discovered that while we have an active group of lenders chatting to each other on the discussion forum, our borrowers don't really talk to one another. It turns out that borrowers who chose not to complete their application would really have liked to be able to speak to an existing borrower, so we've recruited a small team of Zopa Ambassadors to do just that. Each Ambassador has had a Zopa loan and can therefore draw on their own personal experience to answer future borrowers' questions. Hi Mick! So how long ago did you discover Zopa? I found out about Zopa around two years ago. And did you use your Zopa loan for anything interesting? Actually yes! I used the money to improve the overall condition and accessbility of my mother's garden; she's in a wheelchair after suffering a stroke. All your lenders will be very pleased to have helped out! So what made you want to become an Ambassador then? Zopa's the kind of company that I'm happy to associate with and it's a good feeling to help others to work through the processes. So how do yout think we can further help new borrowers to understand what we do? I think us Ambassadors can really help there, as long as the forum is mentioned on the sign up process somewhere. You're right - the forum is mentioned on the homepage, but not yet on the application itself; I'll see what we can do. Thanks! |
