Fed up of all the doom and gloom in the newspapers? Yes us too.
So we're pleased to say that there hasn't been a better time to borrow from Zopa. Our lenders have loads of money on offer to our markets at the moment, so if you're after a loan to reduce the interest you're paying on those pesky credit cards, or you've got your eye on some rather tasty Christmas pressies, you can bag a low rate loan now!

And don't forget our Refer-A-Friend scheme - if you know someone who's looking for a loan at the mo' or wants to get a good return on some spare cash, introduce them to Zopa and we'll give you £50 for each one who gets a loan or who lends £2000 or more.

Giving With A Difference
Just as Zopa provides a more human way of lending and borrowing, Global Giving offers a more human way of giving.
You choose a grassroots community project that you want to directly support and you're then updated with the project's progress through the community concerned.

There are usually 500+ well-vetted projects in over 70 countries, covering areas such as education, health, microfinance and the environment. We rather like this project in Nepal, but there's loads of others to choose from too.
The projects are mostly in the developing world where a little money goes a long way and you can donate anthing from £5 to make a real difference to the people who need your help most.

Another New Zopa Ambassador
Last month we introduced you to one of our shiny new Ambassadors - our team of experienced Zopa borrowers who are helping to answer questions that new borrowers have.
Here's an intro to another of our Zopa Ambassadors - meet Ally:


Hi Ally! So how long ago did you discover Zopa?

I found Zopa in January 2007 when I was looking for a loan to finance a lush new kitchen. We've since moved to a much bigger house as our family is growing, but we've rented the other one out and know that the new kitchen helped us secure some really good tenants.

It's true - you can't beat a good kitchen. So what made you want to become an Ambassador then?

Because your customer experience is second to none and I don't mind giving credit where it's due.

Thanks! So how do you think we can further help new borrowers to understand what we do?

I think you have everything pretty much covered; I found it really easy.
