The News This Month
Once again, we've dug out the most important and ground breaking news from the last month. Michael Jackson concerts sold out in minutes, and Google Street View divided opinion: a gross invasion of privacy, or a brilliant way to while away a boring day at work?
Meanwhile, we should be thankful that whatever else we have to contend with, we don't have to worry about this kind of intruder, and sheep became art in the best YouTube video we've seen for a while.

Here at Zopa, we turned four on 7th March! It was great to put some faces to names and have a natter at our party, so thanks to everyone that came along and made it such a fun evening.

We were also on the telly again this month, which is doing nothing to deflate our ego. You can see our turn on Bloomberg here. Many thanks to Emma and Rob for helping us out with this! As is becoming the norm, we were in The Telegraph and The Independent and elsewhere, This Is Money and Motley Fool were writing about us. We're even in this month's Woman and Home - next stop Vogue?
On top of all that, we've got our very own ad on eBay Motors as of this month, which is sending lots of brilliant borrowers our way.

Don't forget, you can befriend us and follow our random musings on Facebook (we're called Zopa Finance) or Twitter (Zopa UK, just to confuse you).

Still Want £500?
Get your videos in quick!

We're going to be extra kind and extend our video competition until Friday 24th April. We've had lots of enquiries and want to stress that your clips really don't need to be high tech - wobbly cameras and makeshift props welcome!
All you need to do is explain how Zopa works, clearly and simply, from either a lender or a borrower perspective. Upload it to YouTube, send us the link and you're done! Click here to see our favourite so far. To find out more, please click here.

Did you know... that if Barbie were life-size, her measurements would be 39-23-33? She would stand seven feet, two inches tall.

Place Your Votes
Last month, we asked you if your charitable donations had changed recently. Most of you give up to £20 each month, which doesn't seem to have been affected by the credit crunch. Lots of you actually now give more to charity than you did 6 months ago: we can only deduce that Zopa members must be especially generous people!

We'd like to pick your brains again this month too.
Click on any of the links below to place your vote, and to see the results of previous polls:

Zopa helps publish a book!
One of the most unusual loans disbursed by Zopa was to Bob Blackman, who wanted to self publish a series of books. His first in the sci-fi series, The Horsepower Whisperer, was a great success. Now Bob is poised to release the second in the series, called The Wormton Lamb, and we've got 5 signed copies to give away! Simply email jennifer@zopa.com with the name of the first book, and we'll pop it in the post for you. To find out more about the books, click here.

New Release
Last week there we had a new release, and most of you have probably already noticed some changes. To fund your account with a bank transfer, you will need to use a unique reference which you can access by logging into your account, instead of your username.

You will also see that we have separated your Zopa fees from the money you have available to lend. See, we do listen!

It's officially Spring! DIY Time...
Why is it that on the first sunny day of the year, there is a mass migration to Homebase and people get out their shorts, only to huddle shivering at the bus stop with their brand new strimmers and flat pack furniture? While we ponder this British idiosyncrasy, here are some DIY ideas to get your home in shipshape this spring.

• Interiors: Graham & Green
• Furniture: Oakfurnitureland
• Home & Garden: Home and Garden Gifts
• All your DIY: Wickes
• Everything else: Heal & Son Ltd
• For a complete change: Homeswapper
