In May, the newspapers were dominated by news of MP's outrageous expense claims. Here are some of the best excuses. Meanwhile, The Sun focussed its efforts reporting the break up of Peter Andre and Jordan, and dreams of Europe were scuppered at the very last minute for Chelsea fans. Boris Johnson nearly came to grief on his bike, Nick Griffin was uninvited from the Queen's garden party and not very many people caught swine flu. Zopa's been getting its fair share of coverage as well. We starred in a film called UsNow, which was featured in The Telegraph. The Scottish Daily Express wrote a piece about us, and we were in The Economist last week. On top of that, we had a brief mention in The Times. Phew! This month, we found out that we had been awarded the Payroll Giving Quality Mark Gold Award for our commitment to good causes. This means that over 10% of our employee's are making donations through the Payroll Giving Scheme each month to the charity of their choice.
