Terms and Conditions for 1% lending cashback offer

Offer

Earn 1% cashback on all new money that you add to your Zopa account and lend out to borrowers between 4th December 2009 and 31st January 2010. To qualify, a Lender's total value of new funds added and lent out must be £1000 or more.

Terms and Conditions

  1. This Offer applies to all existing and new Lenders who credit their Zopa account with net new funds totalling £1000 or more ("New Funds") AND lend those New Funds out via Zopa Markets or Zopa Listings.
  2. Only funds credited AND disbursed in approved loans within the offer period will be eligible.
  3. New Funds lent may include existing money in a Lender's holding account, on offer, in processing, or received as repayments from existing loans. However, the sum earning cashback will be limited to the total of net New Funds credited to the account, net of any withdrawals made during the offer period.
    • Example 1: A lender adding new funds of £1200 to their Zopa account within the offer period but only lending £990 out in new loans to Borrowers within the offer period will not be entitled to any cashback payment, since total new lending is below £1000.
    • Example 2: A lender adding new funds of £1200 to their Zopa account within the offer period and lending £1100 out in new loans to Borrowers within the offer period will earn 1% of £1100 in cashback, not just 1% of the £100 over the £1000.
    • Example 3: A lender adding new funds of £1200 to their Zopa account within the offer period and withdrawing £210 within the offer period, will earn no cashback even if that Lender makes £1200 of new loans to Borrowers within the offer period using existing funds in their account, since the net amount newly credited will only be £990 and below the £1000 threshold.
    • Example 4: A lender adding new funds of £1200 to their Zopa account within the offer period and making £1500 of new loans to Borrowers within the offer period, using existing funds in their account too, will earn 1% of £1200 in cashback, since only £1200 is new funds.
  4. 1% cashback will be credited to eligible Lender accounts not later than 28th February 2010.
  5. Zopa reserves the right to amend, withdraw or extend any or all elements of this promotion at any time, without prior notice.
  6. This offer cannot be combined with any other offer, promotion, discount or scheme offered by Zopa or any other body.
