If you're aged over 50 and have a cracking plan to set up your own business and need a little financial help to get there, Zopa and PRIME - a Prince Charles' Charity are here to help, with the support of Bank of America's Charitable Foundation.

Zopa is a marketplace where real people get together to borrow and lend with each other. The Zopa-PRIME Olderpreneur scheme allows you to get a flexible loan at a very competitive interest rate using our Listings.

Listings work a bit like an auction, but instead of the 'price' going up, the interest rate comes down as lenders compete with one another to be included in the loan. You can then decide if you fancy the final rate - there's no obligation to take the loan.

We don't normally offer loans to people who are self-employed when their business is very young, so you'll need PRIME to endorse your business plan to be able to take advantage of this scheme.
